We are expanding our Highland Park office! Seeking licensed or pre-licensed clinicians who are either EMDR trained or willing to become EMDR trained.

Karuna Wellness was established in 2019, and has consistently grown into a comprehensive team of highly empathic, professional and effective clinicians. Our goal is to provide trauma-informed, quality care to our clients, pulling from our expertise in somatic and holistic training. We've recently expanded into a second office space in Highland Park, IL, offering more opportunities for clinicians to join our team, as well as expand our "wellness" services including yoga, workshops and other holistic practices. Clinicians on the team are provided a 25% discount on these wellness services.

Seeking a clinician (LSW, LPC, LCSW, LCPC, Psy.D.) to join a small, trauma-focused group practice that prioritizes mind-body healing, inclusive care and professional development. Clinicians with holistic or trauma-focused backgrounds encouraged to apply (EMDR, yoga, reiki, somatic therapies, etc). New hire will start at part-time (15 sessions per week) with the option to build to full-time (25+hrs sessions per week). Currently in need of a clinician to work out of our Willow Springs office. Must be able to work at least 3 late afternoon-evening shifts (latest session 7 PM) if working towards full-time status in order to accommodate client needs. A majority of our client referrals are for in person and require late afternoon/evening sessions. Option for virtual (work from home) if desired and depending on client needs. Karuna Wellness has a specialty in providing holistic, mind-body centered treatment, including EMDR counseling, and yoga therapy. Owner is an EMDRIA-Approved Consultant in training.Clinician expectations:

See clients in-person and virtually via HIPAA compliant video calls (platform provided), providing counseling and other modalities as clinician sees fit

Create treatment plans and maintain progress notes in a timely manner

Have some experience in trauma-informed work with clients

Likes to work independently, and holds ethics and quality client care to the highest standard

EMDRIA-approved consultation hours covered as an employee, with options for clinicians to pursue EMDR certification as part of employment as well.

Must either be EMDR trained or be willing to become EMDR trained within 3 months of hire. 1/3rd of the cost of an EMDRIA-Approved EMDR training will be covered by the employer if not already trained.

This is a W-2 position. Weekly supervision for provisionally licensed clinicians toward independent licensure is included in employee benefits. Administrative and billing services provided. Other benefits for full-time employees include employer-funded BCBS PPO health insurance, full coverage liability insurance, CEU stipend + partial reimbursement for relevant professional development/training, and included EMDRIA-approved EMDR consultation.
