Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a type of psychotherapy that activates a person’s inherent ability to heal from disturbing life experiences.

Many are surprised to learn that we have all experienced trauma to varying degrees, and that often times these traumas, and negative beliefs connected to them, are the cause of unwanted symptoms like anxiety, depression, low self-esteem or relationship issues.

With the right tools, these traumas can be healed and the unwanted symptoms can dissipate. EMDR allows a client to overcome stressors, both small and large, along with the symptoms that link to them, in only a fraction of the time that other forms of treatment may take.

EMDR-INTENSIVE OPTIONS

(SELF-PAY ONLY)

An intensive is a way to deliver treatment in an intensive but short period of time, such as a day or weekend, where multiple EMDR sessions per day are completed. New research shows that intensive therapy for trauma and stress can be extremely effective on symptom reduction.

Research shows that clients completing intensive treatment can make as much progress in the condensed format as in standard weekly sessions. This can eliminate weeks or months of living with trauma symptoms, without the toll this takes on work, relationships and general wellbeing.

Because there are different types of trauma, not everyone will be a good fit for intensive treatment with EMDR. We will discuss your symptoms and decide together on what form of treatment will be the best fit for you.
